highly significantp < 0.05actually significant
The results of the present study lead to the hypothesis that the highly significant (100%) improvement in the resting position (p < 0.05) in all muscles studied (RM, RT, LM and LT) seems to be related to a reduction in drooling, which resulted from the significant increase in muscle tone of the jaw elevator muscles, thereby preventing the involuntary opening of the mouth.
