Although this established a highly significant connection of PrP to proteins whose levels changed in EMT, the direction of protein levels changes in cells which underwent EMT (dataset I) was not correlated to the protein level changes caused by stable PrP-deficiency in TGFB1 treated cells (dataset II) (Spearman correlation; ƿ = 0.419).
