Previous studies in our laboratory had already found highly significant expression of TAF cells within the harvested KB-8-5 tumor through the immunofluorescence of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in the tumor parafin sections and paclitaxel (Taxol) had no effect on the inhibition of tumor growth (unpublished data).
