The severity of liver damage is associated with high risk for OSA and lower oxygen saturation In the entire cohort of 126 patients the prevalence of F2-F4 fibrosis was higher in patients at high risk compared to those without high risk for OSA (80.6% vs 57.8%, p = 0.006), this association remaining marginally significant after adjusting for confounders (O.R. 2.25, 95%C.I. 0.97–5.22; p = 0.05) ( Table 2 ).
