Friedman test comparing the pharyngeal changes after CTB and fixed appliances at three different intervals (T 0 , T 1 and T 2 ) showed a highly significant increase in mandibular position ( p < 0.001), superior pharyngeal space ( p < 0.001) and upper airway thickness ( p < 0.001) at the end of orthodontic treatment.
