All of the IRRs of GIB and CV events exceeded 1 and were at least marginally significant among aged patients with diabetes with various comorbidities and recent medications, indicating a higher risk of both outcomes within patients with diabetes, except for CV events in patients with rheumatoid arthritis where the IRR was not significant due to the small number of patients in this group.
