The main effect of Attention was not significant (F (1,19) = 0.0, p = 0.98, d = 0.1), but there were two highly significant interactions involving this manipulation: Condition x Attention (F (1,19) = 28.4, p < 0.001, d = 2.4) and Condition x Stage x Attention (F (5,95) = 4.6, p < 0.001, d = 1.0), indicating that the stage-related increase in ventilation was more pronounced during ST compared to DT.
