To our best knowledge, this is the first documentation in China of a decreasing trend in SES disparity in LBW by sex, but unchanged SES gradient of macrosomia, using generalized linear model adjusted for risk factors including sociodemographic characteristics and maternal health status, lifestyles, and access to healthcare during pregnancy.
