(c) Decadal trend in Ozone concentration During boreal winter months we observe an increasing decadal trend (2 to 3 DU/decade) over the outer tropical central Pacific and a decreasing trend (−9 to −10 DU/decade) over the midlatitudes (30–45°N) in total columnar ozone measurements from Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS, 1983–2012, Fig. 4a ).
