With maternal IFA supplementation during pregnancy, the adjusted risk of mortality at Day 0 was significantly reduced by 31% (aHR=0.69, 95% CI 0.48–0.98).We found borderline significant reductions, by 21% (aHR=0.79, 95% CI 0.62–1.01) and by 19% (aHR=0.81, 95% CI 0.66–1.00), in neonatal and infant mortality, respectively.
