In contrast, an effect of the oddball type was significant in Experiment 3 [ F (1, 17) = 5.28, p = 0.03], presumably because of the higher error rates for responding to the random dots than the Gabor in the attend-vision condition [ t (17) = 2.05, p = 0.03], although an interaction just reached marginal significance [ F (1, 17) = 3.77, p = 0.07].
