In the Mendelian randomisation model adjusted for age, gender and principal components (PCs) (Model 3, Table 2 ), each 10 mm Hg increase in DBP and MAP was associated with a 4.5 μm decrease (P = 0.01) in CRAE, and the effect size of MAP on CRAE remained similar (β = −2.6 μm) and was marginally significant (P = 0.05).
