Restriction of analysis to studies with a five year lag period showed marginal significance (three studies, 241 298 participants; 1.55, 1.00 to 2.40; I 2 =88%; table 2 ), while there was no association in those studies with a 10 year lag period (two studies, 99 478 patients; 1.58, 0.89 to 2.83, I 2 =76%).
