CL is classically repaired between 3 and 6 months;[ 10 ] however recently, there is an increasing trend to operate in neonatal period.[ 6 ] CP repair is done at a later age, between 9 and 18 months.[ 10 ] Timing and sequence of surgical repair (primary vs. staged repair) depend on surgeon preference in most cases.
