Importantly, we observed a highly significant overlap between the androgen-regulated transcriptome in AR-FL-overexpressing cells (this study) and a previously published gene set of DHT response in MDA-MB-453 cells [ 39 ], further verifying that over-expression was not generating artefactual data ( Supplementary Table S4 ).
