Analyte levels did not differ by the participant-level factors of breast cancer risk, parity, menopause status, or whether or not the participant produced NAF (data not shown); however, differences in estradiol levels by age were borderline significant, with younger women having higher estradiol levels than older women (mean (95% CI) log pg/mL estradiol = -1.37 (-2.71, -0.02) < 45 years old, -2.81 (-4.04, -1.58) > 55 years old; p = 0.07).
