None of the genes showed a significant interaction between treatment and inbreeding ( table 1 ). Of the 10 genes studied, after correction for multiple testing, only the stress-related gene HSP75 shows a borderline significant three-way interaction between tissue, treatment and inbreeding (lme{tissue*treatment*inbreeding}, figure 3 , table 1 ).
