The present study demonstrates that there was a trend toward significance for WM MD changes and the mTBI patients with PSTD at the subacute phase after injury, which is in agreement with a previous DTI study.[ 21 ] It is likely that only MD, among these affected fiber tracts’ abnormalities, in the subacute phase may help to identify mTBI patients with an increased risk of PTSD.
