When the changes over time of the variables measured were compared there was a moderately strong and statistically significant inverse correlation between log TUG and BI (P < 0.001) (Figure 2 ). Multivariable analysis suggested an increase in the TUG score and a decrease in the BI following a sentinel event; however, this failed to reach significance ( Supplementary data ).
