There was a nonsignificant trend toward increased intramacrophage replication of HM605 among patients with CD with active disease (mean fold replication = 1.74 [95% CI, 0.67–2.81]) compared with those with inactive disease (mean = 0.43 [95% CI, 0.0–0.87], P = 0.10), but replication of HM605 in patients with active disease was similar to that seen in HC (Fig. 2 ).
