In the sanidine sample, the 21 Ne excess is barely significant at the 1σ level (not significant at the 2σ level), thus the total concentration of cosmogenic 21 Ne based on the 600°C and 800°C steps [ Kober et al ., 2005 ] should be considered as an upper limit rather than a robust figure (Table 5 ).
