Our data suggested that multiple hr-HPV infections were associated with an increased risk of CIN2+ compared with CIN1(38.1% vs 24.9%, P < 0.001) and of ACC compared with SCC (79.6% vs 32.4%, P < 0.001); however, the rates of multiple hr-HPV infections in CIN2, CIN3, and CC parents showed a decreasing trend with severity of lesions.
