Likewise, znf644b morphants showed a significant (∼3.5-fold) increase in BrdU + cells (0.81 ± 0.28 cells/μm 2 ) and elevated PCNA ( Figures 4 A and 4B); however, the number of pH3 + cells was largely unchanged in the znf644a or znf644b morphant central retina, although a decreasing trend in znf644a morphants was noted ( Figures 4 C and 4D).
