A cytokine antibody array, which is useful to identify the production profiles of multiple cytokines and chemokines, showed that iE-DAP (NOD1 ligand) and TNF- α (as a positive control, proinflammatory cytokine) significantly induced the production of CINC-2 α , CCL20 (macrophage inflammatory protein-3 α ; MIP-3 α ), and MCP-1 in KN-3 cells and indicated an increasing trend in the levels of CINC-1 in iE-DAP- or TNF- α -stimulated KN-3 cells (Figures 1(b) and 1(c) ); however, cytokine and chemokine levels were not significantly induced by the stimulation of iE-Lys (NOD1 ligand negative control) or MDP (NOD2 ligand).
