Discussion Despite exploring various homozygous SNP length thresholds, Mb thresholds, and combinations of covariates, the findings from this study do not lend much support to the original observation of a highly significant Froh -schizophrenia association[ 20 ], and provide only equivocal support, based on combining the original and replication data, for the hypothesis that autozygosity is a risk factor for schizophrenia.
