A χ 2 test revealed that proportions of participants who claimed to be undergoing treatment for chronic illnesses entitled “Autonomic imbalance” and “Other allergy symptoms” at the time of the survey were highly significant among the self‐selected EHS subjects compared with controls (Table 10 ).
