Lower levels of the SCN4B gene transcript in breast cancer tissues, compared with non-cancer tissues, were also found to be highly significant in RNA sequence expression analysed from The Cancer Genome Atlas Network ( Fig. 2e ) and to be associated with an increased risk of metastatic relapse or death in breast cancer patients ( Fig. 2f,g ).
