Our results suggest that similar to recent successes in the LTC sector, there may be significant opportunity to optimize pharmacotherapy and reduce inappropriate antipsychotic use within AL settings via targeted policies aimed at enhancing the availability and integration of skilled healthcare providers and clinical services.
