In our study, we also observed that, for patients with stage III/IV disease, the mOS and 5-year survival rate of those receiving radiotherapy were 96 months and 80.0%, respectively, which were more favorable compared with those of patients not receiving radiotherapy (12 months and 30.3%, respectively), although this difference did not quite reach statistical significance with the number of investigated patients (P=0.0656).
