This decreasing number of cells for all B cell subsets was most likely due to the progressive reduction of circulating total lymphocyte numbers (data not shown) in combination with a reduced frequency of CD20 + cells in PBMC ( P < 0.001) ( Fig 5A ), resulting in a highly significant and progressive reduction of total CD20 + cell counts ( P < 0.001) ( Fig 5B ).
