A recent Australian study indicated that the patterns of care for men with prostate cancer have changed over time in two other Australian states (Victoria and South Australia), with the proportion of men being treated with RP staying relatively constant over time (38.6% in 2009 to 39.7% in 2013), while an increasing use of no active treatment (from 16.2% in 2009 to 21.6% in 2013) was matched with a decreasing trend in RT use (from 25.6% in 2009 to 15.6% in 2013) [ 11 ].
