The Kaiser study [ 29 ] and two population-based Swedish cohort studies [ 45 ] found a borderline significant positive association of abdominal obesity, defined by waist circumference or Sagittal abdominal diameter, with AAA identified from hospitalization discharge diagnoses and/or death registries.
