After applying a functional annotation clustering algorithm to reduce annotation redundancy, the GO analysis revealed a highly significant change in the expression of genes encoding proteins involved in the extracellular region (Cluster 1, enrichment score 7.29), extracellular matrix (ECM)/basement membrane (Cluster 2, enrichment score 7.15), and cell adhesion/cell-cell adhesion (Cluster 3, enrichment score 5.58), suggesting that TRIM58 might contribute to cell-cell and/or cell-ECM adhesion (Table 3 , Supplementary Table S3 ).
