Gross comparisons in the present experiments ( Fig 2A ) showed no significant difference in M-sweating (±) ivacaftor in this R117H-7T subject, but paired comparisons of individual glands, which provides a more powerful means to detect small differences, showed a small and marginally significant increase in M-sweat rates on ivacaftor the same 12 glands selected for analysis of C-sweat rates.
