The superior target detection performance at all eccentricities for the golfers (marginally significant trend at 10° eccentricity) compared to the controls is consistent with the differences reported for video game players and non-video game players on a UFOV task ( Feng et al., 2007 ; Green & Bavelier, 2003 , 2006 ).
