By contrast, HIV-infection was associated with increased risk of Kaposi sarcoma (IRR, 29.66; 95% CI, 7.07–124.44), NHL (IRR, 5.63; 95% CI, 2.73–11.59), anal cancer (IRR, 6.79; 95% CI, 2.75–16.78), squamous cell skin cancer (IRR, 1.91; 95% CI, 1.11–3.3), and liver cancer (IRR, 4.21; 95% CI, 1.03–17.28) and showed marginally significant association with risk of lung cancer in adjusted analysis (IRR, 2.89; 95% CI, 0.94–8.92); the association between HIV infection status and risk of prostate cancer or melanoma was null.
