The time-tumor volume curve shows that the tumor volumes in the DDP/PLGA-30% Fe 3 O 4 + AMF group presented a decreasing trend while the tumor volumes in the 3 other groups continued to increase at varying degrees over the next 21 days after treatment, which indicated that the combination therapy was far more effective than either hyperthermia or chemotherapy alone ( Fig 8A ).
