There were strong, significant, positive linear relationships between species diversity and spectral diversity using band depth in the summer of 2014 for the 350–499 nm wavelength region ( R 2 = .41, p = .03), the 500–589 nm wavelength region ( R 2 = .35, p = .04), and the 590–674 nm wavelength region ( R 2 = .43, p = .02), and a marginally significant positive relationship in the 675–754 nm wavelength region ( R 2 = .26, p = .09; Figure 6 ).
