Overexpression of H2AFY isoform 1.1 resulted in an increase in late CD71 – CD235a + erythroblasts (to 5.7% to 15.5%, i.e., a 1.54- to 1.85-fold increase) on day 14 in the three U2AF1 S34F MDS patients, with a trend toward significance compared with the EV control ( Figure 7H ).
