In the hunting area with restrictions on lactating females (Sondrio), the interaction between early horn growth and sex revealed a highly significant difference between the regression slopes for males and females, and only males showed a significant negative relationship between horn growth in the first 2 years of life and age at death (Table 1 , Figure 2 b).
