we compared the levels of Ck-18 among Child-Pugh classes in group I of liver cirrhosis and no statistically significant difference was detected (P = 0.112) however, a highly significant differences were found when we compared Ck-18 levels between the HCC group and each Child-Pugh classes of liver cirrhosis group (GI) (P< 0.001) this suggest that Ck-18 levels are significantly higher in HCC than all Child-Pugh classes of liver cirrhosis.
