In addition, ER status itself was a significant prognostic factor, with ER-positive status related with 36% (95% CI: 1.06–1.74) higher risk of late all-cause mortality. As shown in Table 5 , a borderline significant modifying effect was observed for ER status in the association between WHR and late all-cause mortality ( P for interaction = 0.087).
