In the current study, those doctors who had attended an educational session were more confident in the domain of therapeutic drug monitoring of vancomycin; specifically, knowing when to measure blood levels and how frequently to monitor them once the patient is in the target range, and borderline significance was found for confidence in the more complex task of interpreting vancomycin blood results to amend dosing.
