Conversely, application of our OE-OT approach reveals highly significant differences between the tumours: the mean SO 2 MSOT (O 2 ), RF and ΔSO 2 MSOT are all significantly lower for PC3 than LNCaP tumours (Figure 2 B; SO 2 MSOT (O 2 )=0.308±0.009 vs. 0.370±0.016, p=0.002; RF=0.53±0.02 vs. 0.63±0.05, p=0.04, and ΔSO 2 MSOT =0.041±0.005 vs. 0.087±0.011, p=0.0005; n t =53, n b =30 and n t =35, n b =17 for PC3 and LNCaP respectively).
