The GLM analysis of F3 scores ( Table 2 ) shows that temperature had a significant effect on the size of skin epithelial cells and chondrocytes, but because the interaction between sex and the thermal environment was close to significance ( P =0.077), we interpreted the effects of temperature in association with the sex of the geckos.
