Paradoxically, topical application of flurbiprofen sodium 0.03% demonstrated a significant increase in corneal sensitivity 30 minutes post-application while a nonsignificant trend for an increase in corneal sensitivity occurred for all other study drugs during the initial 15 to 30 minutes.
