The results demonstrated that the production of a large amount of ROS may promote IL-17A and HMGB1 expression, and the down-regulation of IL-17A or HMGB1 expression caused a reduction in the production of ROS (Figure 9D ), which, however, still appeared as an increasing trend relative to the control group.
