Analysis as per subtypes of stroke according to the Trial of ORG 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment classification discerned a borderline significant relationship in large vessel disease (LVD) subtype of IS in unadjusted (OR, 2.91; 95% CI 0.86–9.75) and significant relationship in adjusted analysis (OR, 5.17; 95% CI 1.32–20.3).
