Surprisingly, none of the chemokines measured showed any significant changes in gene expression in either maternal or fetal brain; however, an overall trend of upregulation of M1-associated chemokines (CCL3, CCL4, CCL7, CCL9) and downregulation of M2-associated chemokines (CCL2, CXCL10, and CCL22) was observed in GSH depleted fetal brain.
