In addition, the experiences generated by the participants themselves were aspects of personal relevance, and represented plausible and highly significant events that could occur in the near future ( D’Argembeau et al., 2012 ), and events that are relevant to the self are better remembered than the experiences of other people ( Gutchess et al., 2007 ; Carson et al., 2016 ).
